Peyman Golshani, MD, PhD

A dual-trained neurologist and neuroscientist with over 20 years of clinical and research experience. He earned his BA from UC Berkeley and his MD/PhD from UC Irvine, followed by residency training at UCLA, where he serves as a Professor in Residence in the Department of Neurology.

As a board-certified neurologist at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center and director of an NIH-funded research laboratory, he bridges cutting-edge neuroscience and frontline clinical care, with extensive expertise in epilepsy, chronic headaches and diverse neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

He has a distinguished track record managing complex head trauma and traumatic brain injury cases, and has remained dedicated to medical education, mentoring students and residents at UCLA — a combination that makes him a vital asset for complex medical-legal evaluations and neurodiagnostic consultations.
